The association was established in honour of Richard Dickson and Terry Gray, two dedicated leaders who shared a vision for the future of sports in our community. The aims of the association are to provide financial support to local athletes, teams and sports organizations. Each application will be given equal consideration and respect based on the objectives of our corporation, the Napanee Sports Association.
The goals of the Napanee Sports Association are to promote and support recreational and competitive sports and athletics in the Town of Greater Napanee and surrounding area by providing financial assistance for:
a) athletes who are pursuing a post-secondary education, including the granting of awards, bursaries and scholarships
b) planning, construction and renovations to new and upgraded sports facilities
c) individual athletes or teams who have qualified at the top of their sport in elite competition
